In the first place, you need to login to the Cpanel area by typing in the URL of the Cpanel in the address bar of your browser. After you have logged in, then in the home page, go to the 'File' menu and click on the 'Backups' option. Next, you would be immediately redirected to the 'Backups' page. In this page you would find various options which would ask you whether you would like to take the full backup of your website including the MySQL database and the email forwarders and filters. If you want to do these, then click on the option "Download or Generate a Full Web Site Backup". There are various other options also available, for you, if you want to take only the backup of your website Home Directory, website database, email forwarders or email filters. There is also an option which would help you restore the backup that you have already taken. Since you want to take a full backup of your website you need to click on the "Download or Generate a Full Web Site Backup" option. As soon as you click on it, it will take you to the Cpanel "Backups Wizard" page. Here you would need to key in your email address so that you can receive the backup in your inbox. Then click on the "Generate Backup" option, so that the backup begins. When you click on the 'Generate Backup' option, you would find that with the progress in the backup a button with the name "Go Back" shows up. You need to click on this button and wait for couple of minutes. You will see that the backup is still in progress and then you should go for the "Refresh" for the page and you would see that the backup is now ready for getting downloaded in your machine. You can download the full backup by clicking on the button "Backups Available for Download" or you can wait to have it downloaded in your email inbox.
